About NextKnock
NextKnock is an Indian job-search app for freshers and early-career job seekers: it lists fresh jobs from company careers pages, finds the company's HR contact, and writes a short AI cold email the user sends from their own Gmail.
Short answer
NextKnock (also written Next Knock) is built in India for students, freshers and people with up to about five years of experience. It reads open jobs directly from company careers pages, helps you reach the right HR or hiring contact with a short personal email, and sends it only after you approve it, from your own Gmail.
Why we built it
Most freshers in India apply through crowded portals and never hear back. Many companies post roles on their own careers pages first, and a short, specific email to the right person is often read when a portal application is not. NextKnock makes that approach practical: find genuine openings early, write to a real hiring contact, and keep track of follow-ups, without referrals or paid lists.
Where the data comes from
- Jobs are read from public company careers pages and the job boards companies host on applicant tracking systems (such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workable and Workday). Only roles in India, or remote roles open to candidates in India, are listed.
- Freshness: boards with a public feed are re-read about every hour, other careers pages about once a day. Apply links are checked and jobs that close are taken down.
- Hackathons are listed only after their page is checked and found open with a registration deadline that has not passed.
- HR contacts are limited to addresses a company publishes for hiring. They are never shown on public pages; signed-in users see them inside the app. Anyone can ask for an address to be removed.
The full details, including limitations, are on the methodology page. How guides are written is on the editorial policy page.
Your Gmail, send-only
NextKnock asks Google only for permission to send the emails you approve. It does not read your inbox. Replies arrive in your own Gmail as usual, and you mark them in the app. Your resume stays private: it is never public, never sold, and not used to train AI models.
What is free
The job lists, company pages, guides, interview questions, the India hiring pulse and the free tools need no account. The app has a free plan; paid plans are listed on pricing.
