FX Confirmations & Settlements, Team Lead

Who we are looking for An experienced individual for our Markets Operations – Foreign Exchange Confirmations & Settlements team responsible for trade confirmation and settlement in line with market deadlines and internal SLAs. The individual should possess extensive knowledge and experience on securities, settlements, claims, rates, products, and related financial attributes. Will require to work closely with Business teams, Functional teams, Business Risk, Compliance and Technology teams on day-to-day basis to ensure seamless BAU. We have a range of solutions from various high- to low-touch principal execution methods, and outsourced agency hedging and execution solutions through our currency management offering.        What you will be responsible for As Senior Associate you will Ensuring timely settlement of cash flows and Investigation and resolution of fails Validate and confirm FX trades (spot, forward, swap, NDFs, options) with counterparties in a timely manner. Manage the end-to-end FX confirmation and Settlement process in line with market deadlines and internal SLAs. Send and match trade confirmations using platforms such as SWIFT, email, or third-party systems (Misys,FXall, GTSS, BBG and CLS, LCH). Perform FX Netting Via email/Call or vendor platforms/ third-party systems (Misys,FXall, GTSS). Monitor unmatched or disputed trades and resolve discrepancies. Liaise with front office, compliance, finance, claims, and IT teams to support the full trade lifecycle. Communicate effectively with counterparties and custodians to ensure timely resolution of issues. Maintain up-to-date records of confirmations and settlements. Ensure settlement of FX trades on value date by liaising with counterparties, custodians, and internal teams.
