Key Responsibilities : Administer and support DB2 for z/OS database environments. Monitor database health, performance, availability, and capacity utilization.Perform database installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades. Execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.Analyze and resolve database-related incidents, problems, and performance issues.Support application teams with database design reviews, SQL tuning, and troubleshooting activities. Perform object management activities, including creation and modification of databases, tablespaces, indexes, and related objects. And finally, you’re open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others Required skills and Experience: Strong experience in IBM DB2 for z/OS Database Administration in large-scale enterprise and production environments. Hands-on expertise with DB2 utilities including REORG, RUNSTATS, COPY, RECOVER, LOAD, UNLOAD, REBUILD INDEX, and CHECK DATA. Experience supporting DB2 subsystem installation, upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and version upgrades (DB2 v11/v12/v13). Strong knowledge of z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, REXX, SMP/E, RACF, and Mainframe infrastructure. Experience with database performance tuning, SQL optimization, access path analysis, buffer pool tuning, and capacity planning.
