Our people make all the difference in our success. ------------------------------------------------------ The Senior Automation Engineer is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Responsibilities: Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Implement scalable solutions for complex problems in quality engineering space. Hands on knowledge in programming and implementations preferably in java and selenium. In depth understanding of data patterns, data validations and various databases including SQL. Demonstrable knowledge in script level Automation using Java and selenium Hands on expertise in UI automation using industry standard tools like Selenium Expertise in setting up Test plans and Test Strategy for Quality Engineering projects. Expertise in JIRA, Zephyr Confluence and Share Point usage. In depth understanding of Postman and SOAP UI for API Testing. Collaborate closely with global BA, DEV & QA Teams for efficient test planning, test design and co-ordinate test efforts between Global Teams. Should be able to mentor junior resources and provide guidance and feedback on automation implementations. Should have the go-getter mindset and should be able to manage projects independently. Very good understanding about continuous test execution in lower environments and creating feedback loops to improve scripts and the quality of tests. Be ready to learn and implement best industry practices into QE space. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
