Senior Manager Engineering

JOB DESCRIPTION: Title –                          Sr. Manager Engineering (Site Engineering Lead) Qualification –           Bachelor’s/master’s degree in mechanical, Electrical or equivalent. Work Experience –   Minimum 10-12 years of experience in pharmaceutical regulated manufacturing industries. Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role. Develop and execute the site's Engineering Strategy aligned with business growth, operational excellence, regulatory requirements, and long-term organizational objectives.  Lead Site Master Planning initiatives to support future manufacturing expansion, technology upgrades, capacity enhancement, and infrastructure modernization.  Own and manage the site's annual operating budget and multi-year capital investment roadmap, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and delivery of business value.  Drive CAPEX project identification, business case preparation, financial justification, approval processes, execution, and post-implementation benefit realization.  Lead large-scale strategic projects involving facility expansion, utility upgrades, automation, digital transformation, sustainability programs, and operational improvement initiatives.  Partner with Global Engineering, Corporate Functions, Supply Chain, Quality, EHS, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and strategic priorities.  Represent the site in regional and global engineering forums, governance reviews, project steering committees, and leadership meetings.  Establish engineering KPIs and performance dashboards to improve asset reliability, operational efficiency, equipment uptime, energy performance, and maintenance effectiveness.  Champion Reliability Excellence through preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.  Drive Engineering Excellence through application of Lean, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, and continuous improvement principles.  Lead digitalization initiatives including CMMS/SAP optimization, smart utilities monitoring, predictive analytics, automation, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
