Job Description: Job Family Definition: Designs, analyzes, develops, modifies and evaluates electrical/electronic parts, components, sub-systems, algorithms, or integrated circuitry for electrical/electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Conducts feasibility studies, design margin and validation analyses and empirical testing on new and modified designs. Assists in architecture development and assessment. Evaluates reliability of materials, properties, designs, and techniques used in production. May direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication. Management Level Definition: Contributions include applying developed subject matter expertise to solve common and sometimes complex technical problems and recommending alternatives where necessary. Might act as project lead and provide assistance to lower level professionals. Exercises independent judgment and consults with others to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. What You'll Do : Contribute in a centralized SI team that supports next generation cutting edge technologies. Responsible for delivering system level signal integrity solutions for large complex high speed systems, boards & packages Take ownership on all aspects of signal integrity design, ranging from design feasibility to product validation Develop SI rules, build on design guides & checklists, review design implementation, create test plans, document characterization & measurement reports Improve & optimize design margins through interconnect, timing & xtalk analysis, 3D EM & channel simulations for high speed designs Understand SI trade offs,  impact of various aspects of system design, provide timely technical assessments & progress updates to SI mgmt Design & characterize test structures & channel models to correlate simulations & measurements for serdes & interconnects Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as HW designers, layout engrs, SW engrs, MFG engrs, ASIc engrs, ODMs & vendors.
