ParTech, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our software development team. This role is a hands-on technical leadership position that combines deep engineering expertise with architectural ownership, technical mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring strong design thinking, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to lead complex software initiatives end to end.

Why We Need You

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of our products while remaining actively involved in coding and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the technical design and implementation of complex, scalable, and highly maintainable software solutions

- Translate business and technical requirements into robust architectural designs and high-quality code

- Drive best practices in software development, including clean code, design principles, testing, and performance optimization

- Act as a technical authority for the team, guiding decisions around architecture, frameworks, tools, and patterns

- Quickly gain a deep understanding of the product domain and ensure solutions align with customer needs

- Design and evolve highly extensible systems, keeping scalability, security, and reliability in focus

- Analyze and address non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, availability, security, maintainability)

- Collaborate closely with product, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and timely deliveries

- Perform and lead design reviews and code reviews, providing constructive feedback and setting quality standards

- Mentor and coach engineers, supporting their technical and professional growth

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, including critical incidents outside normal business hours when required

- Champion domain-driven design, microservices, and modern architectural practices
