The Role Key Responsibilities Design and govern enterprise application architectures, reference architectures, and technical standards to support business and technology objectives.  Develop High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), architecture blueprints, and technical documentation for enterprise applications and platforms.  Define and enforce coding standards, development of best practices, technical guidelines, and SOPs to ensure solution quality and consistency.  Create architecture models, workflows, and system designs using UML and other design and diagramming tools.  Lead application design reviews and ensure alignment with architecture principles, performance requirements, and technical standards.  Define application performance metrics, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend optimization strategies to improve scalability and reliability.  Provide technical leadership across application development initiatives utilizing Java or .NET technologies, middleware platforms, and modern UI frameworks.  Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable application solutions.  Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor teams on application architecture, design methodologies, and software engineering best practices.  Support AI-enabled transformation initiatives including copilots, agentic workflows, RAG-based applications, model integration, governance, security, and responsible AI adoption.   Drive innovation through AI, automation, platform engineering, modern software practices, and emerging technologies.  Your Future at Kyndryl Every position at Kyndryl offers a way forward to grow your career.
