The Role Your Role As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients-which means some of the biggest in the world. What You Will Do Participate in daily operational and project-related calls. Troubleshoot and resolve CA-1 related issues, including support for CA-1 upgrade activities. Address and remediate STOPX37 issues related to recent z/OS 8.1 maintenance updates. Perform daily storage health checks to ensure system stability and availability. Monitor critical spool space utilization and take proactive actions when required. Conduct catalog monitoring and resolve catalog-related issues. Monitor HSM activities, perform reorganization (REORG) tasks, and resolve associated issues. Handle snapshot change activities and ensure successful implementation. Provide storage support during IPL activities and system maintenance windows. Investigate and resolve storage-related job abends. Validate and review storage reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. Perform regular storage audits and maintain operational standards. Follow up with the Resiliency team on hardware-related circuit issues, including CHPID-related concerns. Coordinate with the Zcloud team and support reverse replication activities. Implement and maintain ACS routine changes to support storage management requirements.
