The Role Provides strategy, design and planning services to client IT and business executives in adoption and optimization of cloud and hybrid environments (including mainframe and traditional infrastructure and storage).  Provide analysis, recommendations and designs to optimize the client's platform or hybrid cloud infrastructure initiatives including delivering strategies and roadmaps to both migrate and modernize workloads, as well as to design, build and manage their environments.  Your Future at Kyndryl As an IT/Cloud Consultant at Kyndryl you will join the Kyndryl Consultant Profession, working with other Kyndryl Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and cross-functional Technical Subject Matter Experts – presenting unlimited opportunities with unmatched support through our investment in your learning, training, and career growth. Required Professional experience: Understanding of global disaster recovery and business continuity standards and processes Ability to document disaster recovery process steps at the appropriate level of detail and innovate to optimize recovery time and recovery point objectives Understanding of enterprise application and infrastructure (storage, server, virtualization, database, network and firewall) architecture Ability to map and document application to application dependencies in an enterprise environment Experience on KRO/KIRS/Ansible DR automation platform or similar DR automation platform Understanding of enterprise IT incident, problem, and change management processes Ability to create DR exercise plans that meet the exercise objective in collaboration with application and infrastructure teams Strong understanding of data protection (backup & recovery, DR, storage replication, native database replication, file replication) technologies for enterprise applications running on-premise or cloud infrastructure platforms Hands-on experience with standalone and clustered UNIX and Windows platforms Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix Xenapp)
